Mount the motion sensor anywhere

The Philips Hue motion sensor is completely wireless and is battery operated. This allows you to install the sensor anywhere you want in your home. You can place it on a shelf, mount it on wall or even on the ceiling with just one single screw and can even be placed on a magnetic surface with the included magnet.

Daylight sensor detects light

The integrated daylight sensor detects when there is still enough daylight so that lights do not turn on until you need them. If it’s still too dark you can adjust the light sensitivity of the sensor in the Philips Hue app to personalise when you’d like the motion sensor to activate.

Customise motion sensor lights

Customising the lights and their intensity when they come on depending on the time of day is possible with the Hue smart motion sensor. You can program the motion sensor from the Hue application to trigger gentle night light during the evening and crisp white light to flood your halls during the day.

Requires a Philips Hue bridge
