The DRA-100 employs cutting-edge “DDFA® (Direct Digital Feedback Amplifier)” class D amplifier technology, delivering significant sound quality enhancements through a precise digital feedback loop. Its processing remains entirely digital, preserving sound quality throughout the journey from input to the final PWM modulation stage. With a 70-watt output at 4 Ω, it surpasses the PMA-50 by 40%, achieved through the addition of a gate driver for improved instantaneous current supply. Denon ensured exceptional audio performance by meticulously fine-tuning the sound using discrete circuits for both the output stage and the power supply circuit. This results in high-fidelity sound, marked by rich expressive power and outstanding audio characteristics, including a high signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) and minimal distortion compared to most traditional class D amplifiers.
